Currently, the Vail Resorts family of companies employs more than 18,000 peak-season team members, grouped into six segments:
Vail Resorts runs 11 ski resorts across five states. Imagine working in Colorado’s Rocky Mountain Region at Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone or Vail. Or, venture out to the Tahoe region and work with Heavenly, Kirkwood or Northstar. Canyons and Park City Mountain Resort in Utah offer employment in the heart of the Wasatch Mountain Range. We also operate two urban ski areas – Mt. Brighton near Detroit and Afton Alps near Minneapolis.
Vail Resorts offers a whole lot more than skiing. In addition to our 11 mountain resorts, we own and manage world-class properties, including six RockResorts® destinations. Aside from the properties in the mountain destinations where we operate, we also manage two iconic non-mountain properties: the Grand Teton Lodge Company, a concessionaire operating in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and in Grand Teton National Park and Half Moon in Jamaica.
Vail Resorts Retail owns and operates more than 190 retail stores, both in-resort in the country’s premier outdoor destinations and in key metro markets.
Vail Resorts runs Colorado Mountain Express, Colorado’s leader in ground transportation to the state’s world-class destinations and luxury resorts.
